Can be better
The stay in JW Marriott Medan is good and yet not so good. The staff is very friendly and great customer service. The sad back is the travel desk. There isn't a travel desk service for the hotel guests. The car service arrangement is not reliable during changing shift. One of the concierge staff doing the wrong thing for asking money deposit in order to secure a car arrangement to Lake Toba. At the end, we wasted our effort to drive for 5 hours to Lake Toba and the driver was not willing to let us visit the island and then drive another 5 hours drive back to hotel. Other than this unhappy experience, the food is great at the cafe and the room is fantastic.

Lift and room key daily problem, aircond not cool, bed sheet not changed
Lift and room key keep having problem on daily basis. They keep claiming we put the key close to the phone. On the contrary, we always put it in our wallet. Air conditioner is not cool even after we reported and claimed it has been fixed. Bed sheet was not changed daily. Request of room amenities taken half hour and has to call them at least twice before being delivered. Overall a very disappointed stay. I have stayed in all 5 star hotel in Medan. The best, I still think is The Grand Aston.
