Hotel nuevo a precio razonable

Pase dos noches en este hotel, y si bien no es barato si que está bastante mejor que otros hoteles que se encuentran en hong kong a precios muy superiores. La habitación, como es norma en HK, era pequeña sin llegar a ser diminuta. Con suficiente espacio para dos personas. Todo estaba muy nuevo, limpio, y el personal fue amable y cortés en todo momento. Está muy bien situado si se quiere visitar macao, ya que en 10 minutos se llega andando a la terminal de ferrys. El metro está a unos 7 minutos andando.

La reserva del hotel ponía bien claro que las habitaciones eran con vistas a la ciudad...jajaja, "menudas vistas"... penosas vistas.Llegamos para hacer el "chek-in" a las 11.30 am. y nos comentaron que no podíamos entrar a nuestras habitaciones hasta las 2 de la tarde, hasta ahí todo conforme; teníamos 4 habitaciones reservadas, ya que eramos dos matrimonios con dos hijos, y solo había habitaciones dobles... al solicitar que nos dieran las 4 habitaciones contiguas , nos dijeron que no había ningún problema. Al volver a las 2 de la tarde a recoger las tarjetas para acceder a nuestras habitaciones, nos encontramos con 2 habitaciones en la planta 10..y otras dos en la planta 14, y encima ni siquiera eran contiguas. Resumen: el personal del mostrador escasísimo y muy poco capacitado. Por lo demás poca queja, si olvidamos que ni siquiera te puedes tomar un simple café a la hora del desayuno, a menos que pagues unos 25 euros por desayuno.

One of the most value for money in HK Island side

Simply superb. Would like to thank Agoda for the harbour view rooms that I did not expect when I booked at such a low rate. Totally mesmorizing harbour view room with a top to bottom full pane glass window facing the harbour. Room is spanking clean, toilets are reasonably big and overall is very spacious. Strong WiFi connectivity as well. Visitors can proceed to the front of the hotel where there is the bus A11 to take you all the way straight to the airport. Cheaper and more strategically located than the Shueng Wan MTR to the Airport Express line, not mentioning free WiFi on the bus as well. The tram station is situated at a 1 min walk outside the hotel, making the travel to the Central and Causeway bay area very convenient, with high tram frequency.

Everything you expect from a popular hotel chain, you will get it here. Check-in is on the 5th floor, and it's very fast. However, I was surprised to see that my room only came with one of everything: one pair of slippers, one bottle of water, and one toothbrush. I guess they don't want to waste ammenities, in case you're staying there alone. And it was shocking to see them use trash bins from IKEA. The bed was extremely hard, but some Asians prefer stiff mattresses. And the floor is not carpeted, which can be a good or bad thing. And quite expensive for the location. Even though I booked for one night on a Sunday, it wasn't cheaper than Friday or Saturday. All other hotels around the neighborhood usually charge less for a Sunday night. Everything else about the room is fine: amazing views of the harbour, large LCD TV, spacious interior and bathroom, good water pressure, fast housekeeping, and professional, friendly service from the staff.
