Sin duda, el peor hotel en el que hemos estado....
A la llegada, sobre las 08:00 horas, no hay nadie en recepción, despues de esperar una hora y de intentar localizar a algún reponsable por todo el edificio, nos dice un vecino que no habrá nadie hasta las 10:30 mas o menos, y que el check in no se puede hacer hasta las 13:00 horas, aunque en realidad no nos tienen lista ha habitación hasta las 14:00...y qué habitación!!! tiene aproximadamente 4,20 metros cuadrados, con la cama encajada en tres paredes, el colchón mejor no imaginar de donde ha salido y el baño (por llamarlo de alguna manera...)tiene la ducha sobre la taza del wc, por lo que te puedes duchar mientras haces otras cosas...además te dejan unas chanclas para que no se te caigan los pies cuando salgas...eso sí, usadas por los anteriores inquilinos.
Aunque lo mejor es q tuvimos que compartir la habitación con varios animalitos...cucarachas, con las cuales tuvimos que andar a zapatillazos.El resto de cosas como olores y ruidos casi carecen de importancia, aunque hay q estar allí para poder explicarlo.
Hotel Feature Tip:
No vaya a este hotel...salvo la ubicación no se salva nada, es el peor en el que hemos estado con mucha diferencia.

Clean room with ensuite and wifi good location

One of dozens of budget guesthouses in Chung King Mansion, probably the cheapest place to stay in HK. Room was clean, and tiny, but hey it's hong kong so you have to expect that. Staff were pretty nice. Room is cleaned daily. Internet works well. Location is great.

I shouted to stop him from opening the door (to do daily cleaning) when he knocked because i was still inside the room. However, he still opened it and looked inside. (was thinking what if I was bathing or changing clothes?)
On the day of checking out, the staff knocked my door and asked me if I was checking out on the day. I think he should call to ask instead.

Accessibility and Convenience
The hotel's location is very accessible to museum, parks and to shopping centers. train stations, ferry terminals are witin the area. Our room is kept clean everyday and staff accommodating

We were a family of four and were given a room with two double-sized beds.Room space was quite limited as expected in all hostels but we were able to maximize the space. Staff were English-speaking and accommodating and you can even ask them for directions. As to its location, its quite near Avenue of Stars, Museum of Art and the Space Museum. And if you have plans in going to Macau. the China Ferry Terminal is a few blocks away(10-15min walk). Overall, if your in for budget traveling and maximizing your days consider staying in Carlton Guest House. Me, my mom and my sister definitely enjoyed our stay.

If you don’t mind staying in a ghetto building (Chung King Mansion), go ahead. Very dirty general areas.The room was clean, the staff was friendly and willing to help. Not exceeded expectations because I knew what I was getting for this money.

room was comfortable but very small. at the building entrance there were many people offering guest houses, just walk away and you will be alright. building looks lower classed because of the dim lighting and so many little shops which can be irritating.

The location was good, easy to find. The room was renovated and clean enough for stay though small. Not exactly hotel standard but ok if on a tight budget. Good for budget travelers.
